Sonnet: Eyes
Oh, what a gorgeous organ, body part,
And visual extension of any brain!
A living camera, that works by art:
Whose loss can make a person go insane!
The visual stimuli gathered from views,
Nothing gets seen by eyes without some light;
Our eyes discern the environmental cues;
What’s life on earth for blind? Pity their plight!
The human eye can see distances short,
Deceiving us of things which lie afar;
God made each creature’s eye as if by heart;
The naked eye can see even a star!
Without our eyes, ’tis tough to read a word!
No human eye dare see the Maker, God;
