Sonnet: The Order of things Today
Sonnet: The order of Things Today
The way things happen is so disgusting;
All Christians suffer like how Jesus did;
The righteous face a world most annoying;
The modern evils have blown off their lid!
A pity ’tis to see the way things are!
The corrupt ones are ruling every front;
The worthless man is over-night a star!
In every sphere, the upright bear the brunt.
Yet, seasons ought to change despite delay;
The God who made the lovely earth, knows all;
And very soon, He’ll have His final say;
All evil men will have a grievous fall!
Industrious ones will win over lazy;
The road to righteousness is not easy!
